◉ Status — Published v1, pre-attorney review These terms describe how this site is operated and the legal frame around our engagements, in plain English. A formal review by South African legal counsel is scheduled. Material updates will be marked with a new version date.

1. Operator

The website at contextdesign.tech is operated by Yield SPM (Pty) Ltd, a private company registered in the Republic of South Africa under registration number 2024/185151/07, with operations across Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Bloemfontein, and Johannesburg. "We," "us," and "our" refer to Yield SPM (Pty) Ltd trading as Context Design Co.

2. What this site is for

This is a marketing and engagement-introduction site. It exists to describe what we do and how to reach us. Reading the site doesn't create a service relationship; that begins only when an engagement letter is signed.

3. Acceptable use

You may read this site, link to it, and reference it. You may not:

Use it in any way that violates South African law or the law of any jurisdiction you're operating from.
Scrape it, copy substantial portions of its content, or republish it as your own.
Use it to send unsolicited communications to us in volume.
Attempt to disrupt the site or circumvent any security or rate-limiting we have in place.

4. Intellectual property

Site content — copy, structure, design, code — is © 2026 Yield SPM (Pty) Ltd, all rights reserved, except where indicated otherwise. Substrate code we deliver to clients is licensed under the MIT License to the client at delivery, regardless of these site terms. The substrate is yours; the marketing site is ours.

5. No advice without engagement

Material on this site describes patterns we work in. It is not legal, technical, or business advice tailored to your situation. We provide tailored advice only under a signed engagement letter.

6. Engagement terms

Substrate engagements are governed by a written engagement letter and (where personal information is involved) a Data Processor Agreement. Those documents — not this page — govern the work. Where this page and an engagement letter conflict, the engagement letter wins.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law:

This site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site.
Our liability for the site itself is capped at ZAR 1,000 (or the amount paid for use of the site, whichever is greater — typically zero).
Liability under any signed engagement letter is governed by that engagement letter's own liability clause, not by this page.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in South Africa unless we agree otherwise in writing.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be marked with a new last-updated date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
